Course Outline

• Module 1: Understanding Your Camera

  • Types and categories of cameras, camera settings and positioning, etc.

• Module 2: Video Lightning Techniques

• The basis of lightning for any production outfit, lightning techniques, etc.

• Editor’s List, Lower Thirds, the Principle of Action and Reaction, Colour Grading, etc.

• Animation, creating a motion background, moving text and neat montages, etc.

• Module 3: Video Editing

• Module 4: Introduction to Adobe After-effect CS6 (Motion Graphix Class)

 

N.B: Each module includes individual and group assignments/assessment.

 

Class Size

• Maximum of 20 participants per class

 

Duration of Training

4 Weeks x 6hours/week

 

 

 

Training Facility

• Projector; power supply; laptops and extension boxes; lightning equipment; video-related software (to be provided by PCC)

• Cameras (to be provided by XteamStudios)
